Canada's Wonderland first opened on May 23 1981. From 1981 to now, this 330 acre amusement park has built over 30 more attractions from the day it opened. Canada's Wonderland was originally opened and operated by the Taft Broadcasting Company and The Great-West Life Assurance Company, Then Paramount Parks from 1994-2006. Since 2006, Canada's Wonderland has been owned by Cedar Fair. It's Canada's largest amusement park. Canada's Wonderland is tied with Cedar Point for the second-most coasters in the world.

Canada's Wonderland is open daily from May to September, then only open on weekends until the beginning of November. During October and November, Canada's Wonderland runs Halloween Haunt, terrifying, with over 700 spirits and monsters lurking in the darkness looking for YOU.

Leviathan
Come to Canada's Wonderland and ride the famous Leviathan. Canada's Wonderland is the only amusement park in Canada to have the Leviathan. The Leviathan is Bolliger and Mallibard's first roller coaster that will reach over 300 feet tall. This is the tallest ride in the entire park, 76 feet taller than the Behemoth, and 5 feet taller than the Windseeker.
On the Leviathan, riders will climb up, and be plummeted 306 feet at an 80 degree angle. This coaster has over 5486 feet of track, and speeds reaching 148km/hour. The Leviathan is one of the biggest and tallest roller coasters in the world.
